Edinburgh have recently been selected to host the 2009 Regional Championships. The event is to be held on Sunday 23 August with the venue to tbc.

This year Edinburgh Touch hopes to revamp the whole event and make it a festival of touch inspiring people of all ages to take up the sport. And for those already involved to show them a clear development pathway to top flight touch.

The past two years the event has been held at the University of Stirling and has been a great success. Edinburgh Touch hope to build on this success back in the capital, the home of touch. The day aims to draw on the thousand plus touch players in the city to create an atmosphere around the event to mirror the NTC in New Zealand and the State of Origin in Australia.
